BackPOV.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. It is our policy to respond to any properly submitted DMCA takedown notice
and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material hosted on our website.

1. How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are the copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the owner) and believe that your work has been copied or posted on BackPOV.com in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may
submit a DMCA notice to our Designated Agent.

To be effective, your notice must include the following information as required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and valid email address.
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
A description of the material you believe is infringing and the exact URL or location on the Website where it appears.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

We recommend submitting your notice via email for faster processing. Please ensure your claim is complete and valid, as incomplete notices may be delayed or ignored.

3. Counter Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. To be valid under the DMCA, your counter-notice must include:

Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
A description of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the district in which your address is located, or if outside the U.S., that you consent to jurisdiction in any district where BackPOV.com may be
found.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that the original complainant is seeking a court order to prevent further use of the content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, BackPOV.com reserves the right to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users or contributors who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

5. False Claims Warning

Submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notices may subject you to legal liability. Misuse of this process, including false claims, may result in legal consequences under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
